The ozone layer is rapidly disappearing and, with it the invaluable protection it offers in blocking sun driven radiation from nuking our skin— even on a cloudy day!
Studies now show that 40% of Americans will develop some type of basal or squamous cell carcinoma by the age of 65..YIKES so here are some good try on’s!
Instead of coffee try drinking tea high in antioxidants, OR instead of grilling high temperature cooked and seared meats (which increases oxidation of the skin) consider wild (never farm raised) salmon or other cold water fish all high in protective Essential Omega 3 fats! Move away from citrus in the summer which can make you more sensitive to UV light…… try loading up on watermelon or other summer fruits packed with one of the most necessary antioxidants ever—- vitamin C!. LOVE those fruit smoothies!
