So here is a brief overview on refined vs unrefined…….
Unrefined: originally contains more nutrients such as 17 Amino Acids, B vitamins, Potassium, Iron and fiber however most of this is lost in the processing!
Also can tend to be be somewhat more allergenic for some people.
Refined: tends to be more hypo allergenic, better for the gut plus, and, for those who cook with coconut oil refined has a higher smoke point which lauds at somewhere between 400 and 450 degrees! VERY STABLE!
