Thanksgiving!…uurrrrrrppp! – Plan-It Lean

Okay we ALL tend to overdue on the Thanksgiving Holiday.. That’s the exception to our diet plan or any weight loss diet we may be on.
However help in the form of a few simple suggestion are here! Here goes….
Eat your green beans, salad etc FIRST…This will fill you up as fiber is filling!
1 slice of Pumpkin pie= approx 400 calories
To make it guilt free lose the whip cream and the crust OR eat it all and go walk/jog for 30 mins after dinner
Mashed Potatoes: depending on how much gravy slathered on the top…1 cup requires a 20 to 30 min walk to burn off. OR whip up with Coconut oil and goats milk (I do this and NO ONE can tell the difference) This makes it a lower glycemic no allergen side dish hence less fat storage)!
That warm toasty hot cross bun… with butter! This will require a 10 to 15 min walk to burn off OR just eat half the bun and call it a day!
The Main event: Tom Turkey! 4 to 6 0z will require another 30 or so mins to burn off…light or dark doesn’t matter just lose the skin as this is where most of that extra unnecessary fat comes from!
1 4-6-oz glass of wine: is equivalent to a 25 minute exercise burn…Try NOT to consume on an empty tummy when hungry or you will gobble even more!
Here’s a cool perk! You can actually just hang around and NOT move at all after the delish stuffed to the gills meal.
HOWEVER you then have 12 hours to burn the excess calories. Remeber its a “grace” window of time….After 12 hours your body sends those excess calories to the fat storage tank!
